i had a taste of an actual resuscitation ystd - aftr a yr & a wk of wrking as a registered nurse. like finally, right?
it was terrifying. esp when i was e one who witnessed everything - frm e moment pt was fitting befor collapsing, til e moment she was sent down to MICU.
the irony is tt earlier on otw to wrk, i took e same bus as chia lee (fellow MICU mate) & i was telling her not to transfer to me any post-MICU pts. i should eat my own wrds nxt time. LOL.
anw, it was without any doubt e worst sunday shift ever. 1 resuscitation & 3 admissions on a morning shift. this is beyond crazy. someone clearly hasnt had a shower before coming to wrk. grrr.
appraisal done tdy too. happy with my appraisal marks & rating. bt was seriously unhappy when sister informed me re: my anger issues. someone had told her abt it & tt i even scolded a dr before. WTH. i may be one angsty kid, bt i hve nvr scolded / disrepected any drs before lor. stupid idiot. i really curse tt staff to e bottomest of hell, man.
anyhows, really appreciate e talk with sister. i'll try to tone myself down, lah. bt its damn hard if u're wrking in this wrd. all e petty pts & relatives. i really think eastern singaporeans are e worst bunch of singaporeans ever.
11mnths & 3wks to go before my bond expires. cnt wait to get outta here. i really think med/geron/cardio/rehab nursing isnt my cup of tea. feel like gg to NUH's CMI or KKH fr a taste in peads nursing. hurhur. bt its still a long way to go before i can even think/plan of doing any thing fr e future. right nw, im jst concentrating on staying alive in this ward. HAHA.
